A taste of Golf with a taste of Bali !!!

This trip combining “Playing golf for fun and scenic view in Bali”
Try your Swing, Driving, Chipping or Putting at the highest golf course in Bali, situated in the center of Bali where fresh breeze and great landscape will cool you down. The journey there has spectacular views of rice fields along the way to this lovely golf course, where you can swing to your heart's content for 2 hours before setting off to see Lake Beratan with Ulun Danu Temple,a beautiful Holy Hindu-Buddhist Water Shrine, dedicated to the Goddess of the Lake, "Dewi Danu". Here you can refresh your mind and soul in it's beauty, before stopping off at Bedugul Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Market, where you can try some of the local produce.
Before continuing our trip, a buffet lunch will be served at a local restaurant overlooking the lake. From there we will visit some of the lush green Rain Forest at Bali Botanical Gardens.
On the way back "home", we will stop at the local Durian and Mangosteen shop, in order for
you to continue your Bali experience in the comfort of your hotel.

"Come on.... this can't be Bali". These were the words echoed several times. when I showed this picture to my colleagues. "You mean there are highlands in Bali?"

You see, most people only perceive Bali as beach, sun and sand. Through our Bali driver-guide Bina, we were able to discover sites like these which completely blew our

minds away.

Look as us...dressed up for the beach but landed up at Bali Handara Golf course right on top of a mountain playing a round of golf. The weather is just perfect ... cool and crisp

without the wind. Next time, we will remember to bring along our sweaters.

We booked a Bali package tour and hired Bina for the job. Never did we expect to see some of the sites that we visited. It proved to be an excellent choice. All 4 of us were

particularly impressed with his mild and pleasant mannerism, customer-centric attitude and most importantly his flexibility to accommodate our every request. He went those extra miles to ensure that we really enjoyed ourselves.

Stopped at several places to gorge on durians and mangosteens. Sorry no photos --- were

too busy stuffing ourselves. These are little gems that Bina has intimate knowledge on.

We were pleasantly surprised with his patience and detailed local knowledge that probably only a Balinese would be aware of.

One more photo to end the long story.... see that picture of the Balinese lady with the basket of papayas? This is taken at a very very local market. No tourist except us. Thing is this --- there were 34-40 papayas in that basket. Took 3 men to load this onto her head so that she

can distribute these to the retailers. Notice the other basket with more papayas. I'll leave you to estimate the weight.

Overall an eye opening trip that Bina exposed us to. Even before the trip ended, we started to plan a return trip using Bina's services.

If you are in Bali and need to use a driver and car for any tours, use this guy. You can't be making a better choice.

....Bina is Awesome!! He made our trip so memorable and enjoyable that my partner and I returned to Bali, and of course, we hired Bina during our stay. He will pamper your around the island and provide great suggestions as to what to do and see during your stay. HE IS A MUST as a driver and/or tour guide! Most Recommended Tour Driver

First of all, my wife and I would like to thank Bina for his hospitality and guidance in bringing us around Bali island for 5 days (8^th Jan – 12^th Jan 2011). We'd learned alot from him about the Balinese history, culture and day to day activities.

He's very punctual, responsive, attentive and reliable driver and guides. Because month of January is raining season in Bali. He keep checking the weather and confirm the bookings with event organizer to ensure no disappointment throughout our visits.

Before we went to Bali, we'd discussed things to do and places to visits via email. He's very professional and helping us to customize the itinerary accordingly. So we're not running like mad in Bali and enjoying our visits.

Things you must try; dolphin sighting at Singaraja, kueh lapis (very soft and delicious), and visit Ulun Danu Temple.
